Nick Pacitti

I'm a Corporate Communication student at the University of Texas at Austin with a 4.0 GPA, and I'm drawn to the intersection of business, data, and AI.

As a Growth Equity Intern at Sapphire Ventures, an enterprise software firm with $11B+ in AUM, I sourced and qualified 50+ software companies to build the deal pipeline. I also ran cold outreach to founders and CEOs to secure intro calls for the deal team. The work gave me a hands-on understanding of how pipelines are built, tracked, and kept clean.

My most meaningful project came from that internship. Much of sourcing was manual screening, so I built an AI-powered web tool that screens hundreds of companies against portfolio-fit criteria. After I presented it to board members and senior investors, the sourcing team adopted it into their ongoing workflow.

On campus, I'm a member of Texas AI Business Integration and Texas MCA, and I'm helping bring TFAS (The Fight Against Suicide) to UT. I also co-founded a philanthropic poker tournament that has raised $225K for Austin Achieve.

I'm excited by this RevOps role because it's hands-on building. I want to turn business needs into clean data, working automations, and reporting leadership can trust, while growing my expertise alongside the practice.

• Shadowed a senior analyst through end-to-end mineral rights and royalty acquisitions, studying how the firm valued energy assets
