Hello, I am Dr.

Nikila

Luke, I am looking for an outpatient psychiatrist job position and would be willing and able to start as early as July 2026. I am hoping to stay in the Brooklyn/Queens/Manhattan area but I can be flexible and am willing to commute to Long Island or New Jersey. I am licensed in NY only at this time but would be willing to obtain NJ licensure, or even elsewhere for a fully remote position.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and will be sitting for the Child and Adolescent Boards in September 2026, and I am comfortable with establishing care with any age of patient that is needed.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Fellow at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center (2024-07 – Present)

Managed an inpatient child (14y/o and younger) psychiatry unit, emergency child psychiatry program (CPEP), and intensive day treatment school program.

General Adult Psychiatry Resident at The University of Toledo (2021-07 – 2024-06)

Managed a geriatric psychiatry unit, adolescent psychiatry unit (13y/o-18y/o), consult-liaison psychiatry service, and gained experience with addiction psychiatry 'detox' unit, community mental health center outpatient work, college outpatient psychiatry, general adult outpatient psychiatry, geriatric outpatient psychiatry, ACT/CBT as taught by a clinical psychologist, and palliative medicine.
