Personal values that I portray in my nursing practice are honesty, nurturing, versatility, and diversity. My personal philosophy is that nursing is a profession whose core is communication focused on responding to the needs of patients. Allowing patient participation and maintaining patient dignity develops a reciprocal trust that facilitates continuity of care.

Although my personal values have remained strong, my experiences have created a desire for continued education to enhance my communication and leadership skills and eventually provide a knowledge base for becoming a practitioner. A family nurse practitioner has a strong devotion to the health of her patients and the community. A commitment to preventive measures for a healthy lifestyle and the knowledge to educate patients and their families to empower them to make educated healthcare choices.

I have a strong passion for patient-centered care as this allows the patient to take an active role in their healthcare choices and outcomes. I am a strong advocate for community collaboration for a healthier society and believe this endeavor will provide a better future for generations to come.

Family Nurse Practitioner at Innovative Primary and Urgent Care (2025-12 – Present)

Family Nurse practitioner role providing direct outpatient care from ages birth to death for established patients and 14-death for urgent care or walk-in patients. Primary care focusing on wellness and hormone replacement therapy as well as managing both acute and chronic conditions.
