I have established, operated and managed revenue generating core facilities for Sanger DNA sequencing, Oligo/DNA synthesis, molecular biology techniques, analytical and proteomics services in various academic and federal institutions in the US. These cores were self supportive and provided research services to hundreds of research groups in academic, federal and private research institutions.

I am also current in techniques used in protein isolation, purification and various characterization techniques, protein expression in bacteria and mammalian cells, many traditional and advanced molecular biology techniques. I am currently conducting projects on discovery and characterization of.biologically active proteins and peptides and evaluating their therapeutic application.
