The past twelve years of my life have been filled with nonstop competitive cheerleading, and it has given me the opportunity to experience working cooperatively with others in order to achieve a common goal. It is especially important to put forth 100% all the time because others rely on me, which is a value that I uphold at all times. My senior season finally came to an end, but that has only left me yearning for a level of camaraderie and hustle that is typically found in fast-paced environments.

On top of that, I have maintained almost straight A’s for the entirety of my high school career. Being in multiple honors and AP (advanced placement) classes requires extreme time management skills, diligence, and motivation, which I have learned to apply to many avenues of my life such as personal goals, day-to-day errands, and of course, work.

Speaking of work, my previous job as a cashier at Panera Bread and current job as a hostess at Burnt Toast have given me insight into the expectations of a work environment. In these roles, it is necessary to put on a smile and be hospitable to customers. At the same time, multitasking is also essential to be able to handle the flow of the establishment
