- Studied how biological control agents such as nematodes significantly affect gastropods
- Developed a pamphlet and presentation to effectively communicate experimental outcomes to audience
- Demonstrated teamwork skills throughout the project. Developed pipette techniques, along with compound and dissecting microscope skills to assist group project
- Extracted and amplified DNA from nematodes by using polymerase chain reaction produced from gastropods feces
- Cloned Aiptasia by pedal laceration tested in light conditions and nutrition separately (light vs. dark & fed vs. not fed)
- Preformed a series of cellular and molecular assays to measure the total protein content, mitotic index (replication rate), and cell density
- Developed statistical analysis methods to analyze total data collected to create a high quality graph presented to audience
