Control process from start to finish of creating high quality processed carbon fiber sheets, from raw carbon fiber to 15 end products. Leading a team of eight production workers across day, night, and weekend crews manufacturing carbon fiber products for industries that include automotive, footwear, and luggage and travel accessories. Following complex written and verbal instructions, as well as producing written instructions detailing manufacturing procedures for more than a dozen carbon fiber products.
Produce custom carbon fiber sheets that must meet stringent customer specifications including attention to dimensions, weight, and using extreme attention to detail as any minor imperfection results in a rejection of carbon fiber sheets. Use various machines including mechanical presses, coating booth, table coating, lamination tables, and waterjets. General carpentry and 80/20 aluminum t-slot construction, including making worktables and stations.
Meeting production deadlines and completing orders. Head of production safety committee. Tasked with improving overall production environment safety for our workplace.
