- Started off as labor picking up trash and learning materials
- Organizing and bringing materials to others to finish a task
- As helper brought and helped drywall mechanic finish task as framing and screwing and cutting studs
- Lifted heavy objects as drywall driving the scissor lift to install drywall wall
- As drywall journeyman had all the same responsibilities as a labor and a helper all at once and guided helper and ensured all were doing the job correctly in safety manner
- Finished tracking the floor/deck with a shot gun with concrete pins
- Standing studs at 16 or 24 inches apart screwing studs to track bottom and top
- Sheetrocked one-sided wall so the Inspector can see how the process is going
- Rocked the other side of the wall once approved
- Used a scissor lift for difficult areas to reach
Drywall journeyman - Baker drywall
(2022-01 - 2024-08)
- Worked on exterior walls and framing exterior driving boom lift
- Shooting clips with DX1 or 351 hilt shotgun with steel pins
- Installed denglass sheets where exterior framing was complete
- Screwed the wall with 1 ¼ screws
- Installed hollow metal doors and aluminum doors
- Plumbing with a laser to make sure it was all level before installing the door
- Installing hardware

- Demo, drywall, framing, layout, ceiling
- Walking on stilts
