I have a passion for creating a positive culture and making a difference. I am a wife, mom, and a new grandma. I was a teacher for 17 years and a math specialist and instructional coach for 10 years- in leadership and administration. I loved to build Collective Efficacy in teams, and to inspire teachers to impact their students and colleagues in positive ways. I loved my job! And I am ready to take on a new challenge and exciting adventure in a place that I’ve always love to shop.
I owned a Mary Kay business for 10 years and was quite successful.
I was an elementary school teacher for 17 years and loved every minute of it.
The last 10 years I have been a Math System Specialist and an Instructional Coach for Franklin Public schools. I was able to coach teams of teachers, facilitate professional development for the district, and make a difference in the lives of others, as they did mine, and in students’ lives.
I believe that with both owning a Mary Kay business, and being an Educator, customer service is an essential part of both of those. While working in education, you need to be able to communicate effectively and positively with all stakeholders, including staff, teachers, engineers, and parents and students.
I attended the university of Milwaukee for my bachelors of science degree in elementary education with a specialization in mathematics .
I have also attended Cardinal Stritch, and taken classes through other universities for many graduate credits for Leadership training, Team Building and Instructional Coaching certification, Best Practices in Teaching, and other beneficial courses.
