Patricia Violi

I was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for 35 years. It was a career and profession that I loved. This was a very challenging and rewarding career and one in which I excelled.

I retired from nursing in 2011. My husband and I have been “snowbirds” since 2015 in Vero Beach. In November of 2020 we sold our home in Ohio and became permanent full time Florida residents. He and I both got COVID in December 2020 and although we were pretty ill for a couple of weeks we survived unscathed.

I have recently come to realize that living in Florida year round is a lot different than being a seasonal visitor. I’ve learned you can’t be “on vacation” 24/7 year round. Although I enjoy my leisure time playing golf, swimming, playing mahjong and activities with our many friends, I feel like a need something more purposeful and challenging in my life.

I feel I would be very good at customer service. I’m always so appreciative when I speak to a courteous and knowledgeable customer service representative who is genuinely concerned with whatever issue I am contacting about and goes out of their way to solve the problem.

In a way my previous career in healthcare was a very customer service oriented position although the needs of my patients were certainly more acute.
