I am both an enthusiastic and motivated professional with approximately 13 years of service in the US Air Force. In this time, I have developed and honed a broad set of skills. Most notably my abilities in program management, team leadership and development, financial and logistical planning, asset accountability/inventory, data collection and analytics and even mechanical maintenance.
Additionally, I specialize in authoring and delivering education on weapon systems, small arms, munitions, advanced technologies and computer systems. I possess superb communication and public speaking abilities, and very frequently find myself leveraging effective communications in pursuit of department objectives and goals. I value collaborative efforts and dynamic teams that come together to accomplish critical tasks.
I find reward in hard work, and a job well done, regardless of the parameters.
In my career, I have garnered extensive program management experience. In which the leading and developing of team mates is critical for the overall productivity and output of the department. Here is a brief summary of my most recent position as the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge, of the Combat Arms Program at the 18th Air Support Operations Group of the US Air Force. I have been in this role since January of 2021.
In my current role, I direct an Air Force Special Warfare weapons training and repair program. In which, I lead a team of instructor cadre that cater to the needs of over 1,400 customers annually. Some of which are geographically separated from our headquarters.
This requires an extensive knowledge of mission planning, and how to effectively move the amount of resources and personnel to these locations to adhere to the needs of our clients. A strong sense of accountability and an understanding of resource management is required to be successful in this realm. Additionally, this has broadened my knowledge of logistics and supply trains, and financial forecasting for department needs.
I am a subject matter expert, lead trainer and certifying official on over 21 different weapon systems, munitions articles and advanced technologies. Items such as night vision and thermal imaging devices, laser designators and various electro-powered optics that are used in support of the US' Department of Defense global and strategic objectives. In addition to the use and employment of these items, I am also a very capable repair technician with a vast knowledge of mechanical operations and maintenance tasks associated with both small arms and crew served weapons, of both domestic and foreign production.
My team and I operate in tandem with US Air Force, Army and Marine Corps Special Operations units. We tailor and develop weapons and demolitions training programs to better enhance performance capabilities and end user comprehension. This has developed a broad understanding of diverse cultures and just how important knowing your audience is, and the best ways to adjust messaging techniques and an overall ability to communicate effectively in pursuit of common goals between clients and providers.
