I have 16 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry with 9 of which being in a managerial role of a client services/operations team.
In my most relevant role as Director of the Fund Custody Department at Inspira Financial, I led a team of 10 client service/operations associates and 3 managers who administer custodial duties to pooled investment vehicles (e.g. hedge funds, 1940 Act mutual funds, private equity funds, SMA’s, etc.) primarily invested in alternative assets. We worked very closely with Investment Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other investment professionals to provide the best possible service in an effort to exceed their demanding communication and transactional service level requirements. I also served as the primary point of contact for the team’s largest institutional clients as well as the top escalation point for all other institutional clients. Since the department was established in 2010, we went through enormous growth starting at around $500 million in assets under custody to over $20 billion.
Combining my operational and cash management skills with efficient and eloquent client service has been a passion for me since the beginning of my career. I have found it rewarding being able to assist clients and business partners with complex requests while keeping them informed throughout the process. I have also enjoyed coaching newer associates in proper and timely communication and operational efficiencies.
In my most recent role as Product Owner at Inspira Financial Trust, LLC, I was responsible for creating user stories in collaboration with SME’s and Technology along with participating and often leading all traditional Scrum Ceremonies. My team was responsible for verifying various loan data elements from PDF documents to CSV documents for accuracy along with working with an outside consultant to build a more efficient tool to complete this work. This resulted in the data verification of over 3 million loan documents with 98% accuracy and launch of a new tool to complete this work 50% faster and 70% cheaper than the previous process. Additionally, a separate team I was on built out a client facing online portal which allowed clients to transact online. The tool was so effective, we were able to convert 90% of legacy clients, creating greater efficiencies for the client and operations team.
