I am a school counselor with a Master of Education in School Counseling and experience supporting students in academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development in K–12 settings. I work closely with students, families, and staff to promote student success, emotional well-being, and post-secondary readiness.
My professional interests include student development, counseling theory, crisis support, and educational psychology. I am especially interested in contributing to counselor education through adjunct instruction and practicum supervision.
I also have a strong interest in the importance of expanding access to mental health services and increasing the number of well-trained mental health professionals. I am passionate about preparing future counselors to meet the growing needs of students and communities through effective, ethical, and compassionate practice.
I bring strengths in communication, relationship-building, and applied counseling practice and am seeking adjunct teaching opportunities to share field-based experience and support the development of future educators and counselors.
I currently serve as a school counselor in a K–12 educational setting, where I support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development. My responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling, academic and career planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with staff and families to support student success.
I contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide systems that promote attendance, behavior support, and student engagement. I regularly participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, document student progress, and provide responsive support in crisis situations.
I work with diverse student populations and am committed to reducing barriers to learning while promoting mental health and student well-being. I have a strong interest in supporting the preparation of future counselors and educators through applied instruction, mentorship, and practicum supervision.
Key strengths include communication, collaboration, applied counseling practice, and supporting student development through evidence-based interventions.
