As a welder, I am responsible for reading blueprints. I bend and weld metal parts to make boilers. I am required to pack and inspect metal parts. I have experience on the paint line, operating FMS and the brake press. Occasionally, I drive the forklift to collect materials and parts. I try to be a team player to the best of my ability and help anyone in need.
Maintenance/Handyman - Josh Smith Auto - Eden, NC

As the handyman at Josh Smith Auto I performed whatever auto mechanics possible that didn't require mechanic certifications (example: oil changes). Whenever needed, I was able to use my welding certification to meet the needs of the mechanics and/or customers. I worked here for a short time due to being laid off by the temporary staffing service with Weil-McLain and then getting called back to work full-time in September.
