I am a degreed engineer (BS & MS) with 20+ years of hands-on experience improving manufacturing operations in many plants and industries. My approach is unique because I blend process innovation and automation with Lean Six Sigma improvements to make breakthrough improvements rapidly. Solving tough technical problems is my forte' - and achieving rapid, significant improvements in quality, productivity, and flow is what I focus on.

My professional background is a blend of Manufacturing Engineering Management and Manufacturing Excellence Consulting with over 20 years of practical experience managing engineers, maintenance technicians, tool room personnel, automation engineers, and others in very large firms and mid-sized manufacturers. I learned consulting at Grant Thornton LLP by developing their TQM practice and expanding that to operations excellence. After 2000, I formed my firm to focus strictly on operational excellence for mid-sized manufacturers who do not have the time or expertise to take on complex and/or expensive projects - plant consolidation or expansion, automation, large-scale Continuous Improvement.

I have a BS in Physics and an MS in Nuclear Engineering. Subsequent technical training in: ISO9000, ASME Pressure Vessel Design, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, World Class Maintenance, Change Management, Leadership Development, Consultative Selling, 80/20, Project Management, Total Quality Management, TPM, ERP System Selection and Implementation.
