To become a key member in Well Development and Exploration Operations while helping create and maintain a safe and environmentally sound work place and plan to provide years of quality service. I've been fortunate to work with several types of rigs with various equipment. ST-80's, 4500 Iron Roughnecks, PRS 5, numerous top drives, numerous mud pumps systems, BOP stacks from surface to submersibles and configurations and other rig equipment from platform rigs to deepwater rigs.
Along with that various 3rd party groups, coil tubing, wireline, electric line, ocean engineering, frac operations, flow back & well stimulation operations. Diverse knowledge and skills, quick to learn and common sense, I am confident in performing tasks set before me, and the crew I supervise in a safe and productive atmosphere.
RIG MANAGER - PATTERSON UTI

Supervise safe work practices of workers while maintaining a zero tolerance of LTA. Provide optimum performance of equipment and personnel to achieve goals set by the vendors to the best of my ability. Active participant in conducting pre & post tour safety meetings.
Extensive involvement in drilling and completion of all types of directional wells. Worked closely with the Tool pusher & Company Rep. in well operations. Ensured the safety and training of up to a ten man drilling crew.
Instruct and coach employees to do their job in a safe manner and to perform them to the best of their ability. Monitor the performance of the drill crew; taking appropriate action to identify and resolve maintenance & performance issues to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. Keep record of tour activities and document on IADC.
Demonstrate the ability to be a leader in way employees would like to become one. Insure that Preventive Maintenance is performed on a regular basis. Supervise rig activities on frac, coil tubing, and wire line operations and document depths, logs, actions on IADC reports.

Perform the duties and responsibilities of a Derrickhand, Maintaining PZ – 10 & 11 Gardner Denver mud pumps, pit systems, working in the derrick on tripping operations. Assisted in the running and make up of bottom hole assemblies, casing strings, and completion strings.
Working and directing on nipple up/down operations. Mixed and maintained water base and synthetic base mud systems. Responsible for operating and maintaining all rig floor equipment while tripping drill pipe in and out of the well bore.
