I have worked at safeway in the dalles oregon since April 2025 and I live in maupin..I would love a job that I dont have to drive 100 miles a day for..I am very good with customer service because I love people..people love me...im a problem solver and can work without supervision..I have my occasional and food handlers card and im cpr and first aide trained
I work in The deli department in safeway and I go in at 3am and set the day up..I pull food that is bad or going to expire and I then donate what can be donated and distress what can't be. I count inventory and make sure the counts are right then I put it into the computer and decide what is needed for the day I print off the work sheets for each station and assign them..I also prepare orders for people. Sandwich trays meat and cheese trays fruit and vegetables trays.the large ones..I make sandwiches for our shelves and salads all the while waiting on customers
