I'm Peter, an analytics engineer who enjoys turning messy, disconnected data into something clear, structured, and useful. SQL is at the core of my work, and I use it regularly to clean, transform, and analyze data. I'm comfortable working with CTEs, subqueries, joins, window functions, aggregations, and more complex queries when necessary.
I also use Python when a task goes beyond what SQL is best suited for, from cleaning and reshaping datasets to building data pipelines and moving data between different systems. I've worked hands-on with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and dbt, which is the main tool I use for data modelling. I also build Looker Studio dashboards that turn analysis into insights that are easy to understand and act on.
For version control and collaboration, I work with Git and GitHub. Another area I've been having fun exploring is building AI agents with n8n. Most of what I've built so far has been for personal projects, where I get to experiment with automation and different ways of connecting systems.
For example, I currently have a running workflow where an agent scrapes all the latest job postings and sends them to my Postgres. I'm still exploring what's possible, but I'd love to put that experience to work for a team that's curious about agentic AI. What I enjoy most is the process of taking data that starts out messy or fragmented and working through it until there's something reliable and meaningful on the other side, whether that's a clean dataset, a well-modeled warehouse, an automated pipeline, or a dashboard that helps someone make a better decision.
Operations Analyst at ResearchDataScribes (2025-06 – Present)
Senior Editor at Cadence Translate (2023-03 – Present)
I transcribe market research interviews every Monday to Friday, managing over 100 minutes per day. Each interview is a new challenge as I have to work with varying audio qualities and varying accents. I also work as a QA editor, ensuring transcripts submitted by other editors are flawless and client-ready. I use Gemini and Claude to research technical terms and entities.
QA Reviewer/Transcriptionist at Transcrib.io (2021-10 – 2024-06)
As a Transcriptionist and QA reviewer, I acted as the firewall between the company and the clients, ensuring the transcripts submitted were client-ready. My work with Transcrib.io strengthened my ability to edit English spoken in various European accents, including those of speakers from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Nordic countries, etc.
