Responsible for developing a conservation plan for Rwanda’s endangered grey crowned cranes and its habitat, the Rugezi Marsh. Reviewed strategies and conservation plans established by the International
Crane Foundation and modified them to reflect current conservation standards. Designed a situation model using Miradi software to highlight the direct threats faced by the Rugezi Marsh and proposed strategies to mitigate these threats. Worked collaboratively with a team to develop a conservation plan for the Rugezi Marsh with objectives of reaching a conservation goal by 2028. This plan was submitted to the International Crane Foundation and the Endangered Wildlife Trust Foundation.
