For a long time I worked as a system administrator, then held management positions (Head of IT Department, Executive Director), then headed an IT company (system integrator) in my hometown. In recent years I have rethought the format of work and now I am evolving towards DevOps practices, my experience as a manager and engineer is the best suited for this profession.
I have extensive experience with networks and networking equipment. I have mounted, installed, configured server and network equipment in data centers. I have worked extensively with Dell and HP servers, Cisco, Juniper switches and routers, and other networking equipment.
I have extensive experience with VoIP, configured from scratch IP telephony platform based on Mera VoIP Transit Softswitch, Asterisk, Cisco AS. Working for Internet and VoIP providers I implemented billing systems bgbilling and UTM. I implemented various CRM systems (including vTigerCRM, SugarCRM), security and video surveillance systems.
I implemented monitoring systems based on Zabbix, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics and Grafana. As a logging system I implemented ElasticSearch and OpenSearch. Of course, I organized backups and storage of critical data.
I configured CI/CD processes (gitlab-ci) and various workflow/docflow systems (Redmine, Jira, Confluence). I use bash, ansible, terraform in my work and strictly follow the principles of Infrastructure as Code, I am an ardent fighter against technical debt. I have extensive experience with Windows Server, Unix (FreeBSD) and Linux (Gentoo/Ubuntu) operating systems.
Of course I use Docker and Kubernetes. With cloud solutions, I have mostly worked with Azure, but have experience with AWS and GCP. I call myself an IT-adept, I like big and complex tasks. Right now I'm interested in high-load projects.
