My name is Pooja Singh. I’m a high school senior with a strong interest in healthcare and working with others. I’ve had experience in a hospital and also shadowed medical professionals through a mentorship. These experiences taught me how important it is to be present, attentive, and caring in any role.
I currently work with children who have autism at my school in a program. This has helped me grow in patience, understanding, and communication. Every day, I support them in ways that fit their unique needs, and I’ve come to appreciate how small steps can make a big difference in someone’s day.
I’m dependable, compassionate, and always ready to learn. My goal is to become a Physician Assistant in the future, but right now, I’m focused on growing through the opportunities in front of me and continuing to make a positive impact wherever I can.
I have hands-on experience working in both healthcare and educational support settings. I completed a Pharmacy Technician program where I gained hospital experience and learned about medication handling and patient care. I also shadowed medical professionals through a mentorship program, which helped build my understanding of clinical environments.
Currently, I work with children who have autism, supporting them with daily routines, communication, and emotional development. These roles have strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to adapt to individual needs.
I am currently a high school senior, graduating in 2025. Throughout high school, I have taken advanced coursework in science and healthcare-related subjects while also participating in multiple programs and a medical mentorship. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in healthcare, patient support, and communication skills, all of which are directly relevant to the field I’m pursuing.
