ELI Professor at University of Texas- El Paso (UTEP) (2023-01 – Present)
I serve as a Professor in the English Language Institute (ELI) teaching Grammar, Writing & Business English leveling from Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. I interact with students from diverse backgrounds whether they be from Taiwan, China, Ghana, Colombia, Bulgaria, Turkey or Mexico. As a Business English Instructor, I teach about the Key Knowledge of Business from a Domestic & International perspective.
I also help the students visualize, construct & implement their own personal business goals into fruition.
Youth Development Specialist at Boys & Girls Club of El Paso (San Elizario, Tx) (2023-01 – 2024-12)
As a whole, I serve as a mentor, coach & a tutor to grades 3rd-6th. I also conduct a mentorship program called Passport to Manhood on Mondays while also holding to other clubs during Tuesday-Friday called the Spartan Challenge & We Reach Goals. The Passport to Manhood teaches young men about the stereotypes of men & teaches the true Value of a Man.
Challenge is based on gearing the children to become warriors & leader within their community by motivating thru challenging circumstances & activities in order to build their self-confidence. As they build their self confidence, it will allow them to inspire & motivate their peers & those around them.
Goals stands for W=Writing, R=Reading & G=Grammar.
Goals is about inspiring the kids to go above & beyond what they are capable of doing or told and become greater than they imagined. I help them plan out Milestones & short-term goals so they can accomplish their end goal which is their dream. Both of my programs are based off my own acronym called OIL.
O=Opportunity, I = Impact & L=Light. As I apply my own life Philosophy of OIL; I teach them to always Value themselves thru OIL. Recognize your Opportunities & Create Opportunities for others when you can, Remember those who have Impacted you & make an Impact on others & be the Light in someones Darkness showing them the way to better things even when they can't see it.

I served as an Instructor at Rio Salado Community College under the ELAA Program (English Language Acquisition for Adults) covering the following areas such as Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking in English while preparing students for their GED, Tabe Test and/or Citizenship Test.
Intervention Specialist at MGRM Pinnacle High School (2018-01 – 2019-12)
As a Intervention Specialist, I assisted at-risk students and adults (up to the age of 21) in their school subjects such as Biology, American History, Social Studies, Life Management, Health, English, Ethics, Personal Fitness, and Physical Education. I also ensure that all students were comfortable while working in a safe environment. As an online teacher, I revised curriculums and taught various courses for juniors and seniors such as English, Personal Fitness, Physical Education, and Ethics.
As a Career Counselor, I sought after information that assisted in individuals with life resources for rent, clothing, food, along with volunteer and employment opportunities within the community. As an acting guidance counselor, I served as a liaison (acting Guidance Counselor) between students, parents other high schools including prospective students while also guiding them in the courses they needed to take. I constantly setup meeting for students to meet academic advisors & admissions of community colleges and/or universities that the students might be interested in.

As I coached and trained athletes, I provide and teach the skills that they need to improve on for serious competition and optimal results. While working on flexibility, strength, speed, agility, and motor skills; they also improve their physical fitness, cardiovascular endurance, and learn techniques to prevent injuries. I've trained athletes in the following sports: Soccer, Track, Basketball, and Weightlifting.

I taught children the core principles of English while teaching them to build a solid foundation for the world's most widely spoken language. I taught children from the 4th grade up until the 7th grade.

As a soldier in the Army, I maintained poise during stressful situations which allowed me to lay a positive foundation for soldiers to progress in their careers along with everyday life occurrences. Being part of a team, which was more like a family allowed me to ensure the success, quality, and production of my soldier's achievements and outstanding professionalism. I also participated in the Good Neighbor Program which allowed me to gain experience teaching as a soldier in a Foreign Country.
