To whom it may concern,
I truly believe that my qualifications and experience would make me a valuable addition to your team.
First, I have the majority of the welding qualifications to do the job which have been earned over the course of two years. I graduated from Bloomington High School North with a Technical Honors Diploma and top welding student in my class for two years in a row. Immediately following graduation from high school in May 2022, I left for basic training as part of the Indiana National Guard and following graduation in August 2022, I started my Military Occupational Specialty in Aircraft Structural Repair.
I graduated on January 20, 2023 with honors.
I have always been someone who appreciates precision but being in Army Aviation has developed that even more. They taught/ordered precision down to 1/64th of an inch. Working with various types of sheet metal (aluminum, cold rolled steel), I’ve expanded my skills in fabrication and learned to use different types of machines and hand tools. Also, being in Army Aviation, we were taught to keep maintenance logs and tool accountability to keep the hanger safe and tidy.
Throughout High School and even in the military, I competed on various athletic teams and competitions which taught me teamwork and the discipline it takes to be a well-abled person for this job. Even now, I believe that physical fitness is an important part of the job.
My passion for Motorsports is evidenced by my acceptance to IUPUI and my interest in their Motorsports Engineering Program. I sincerely hope that you will consider my application.
Best regards,
