Thank you for viewing my resume and considering me to be a part of the REI team. A little about me, I moved to UT from WI in 2011 for school where I studied musical theater. During school and after graduation I worked in a variety of retail and food service industry jobs before turning to the fitness and warehouse industries where I worked in operations management.
After recognizing that my life goals did not align with the corporate lifestyle, I quit to be a ski bum and have been enjoying most of my days this winter on the mountain. I'm an avid hot yogi and hiker, and am excited to dip my toes into backpacking and touring this year. During the summer I'm outside somewhere in the forest, and biking most evenings.
I am looking for a positive environment and team that supports my passion for the outdoors, as well as some discounts on the gear (because we all know how it adds up here when you have ten outdoor hobbies). I love people and am excited to hear about their goals and aspirations. In retail, especially in the outdoor scope, making connections and discovering what people want to do and achieve is the first thing on my to do list when helping them find a product that fits them best.

Managing a team of 60-80 Associates in day to day operation with key focus on safety, quality and process efficiency to ensure the best possible customer experience is met Constant identification of waste in the outbound process to remove barriers and push continuous improvement initiatives to the team, as well as across shifts/departments* Utilize high level Excel workbooks to analyze, plan and execute in the operational flow of inventory as well as labor cost management* Data analyzation and reporting to site leaders on key metrics to ensure process improvement initiatives are met at a shift as well as site wide level* Maintained KPI metrics at or above the network standard for duration of Amazon tenure* Led top performing pack team in the network in pack rate and quality DPMO* Site L4 contact and project lead for the Amazon Virtual Andon (AVA) system pilot program launching Q2-Q3, and the SIOC pack line launched in Q2
