Deputy clerks are professionals who assist in all levels of legal matters. They create and maintain records of courtroom proceedings like motions, correspondence and dockets.
Deputy clerks often work with law enforcement to process warrants and subpoenas. This role also requires some public interaction, such as providing information about court proceedings and assessing court-related fees.
