I am a 26 year old swim coach, who has dedicated nearly five years to coaching. While swim is the sport where I have the most experience coaching, I have practiced mixed martial arts for nearly 10 years, I played soccer in high school, and recreationally play now. I have helped instruct the young kids in martial arts, and I have been a caregiver at both a retirement community for people experiencing memory loss, as well as a caregiver for kids in a crisis home. My goals are to continue broadening my skills helping kids of all ages grow into the best versions of themselves they can, and to become the best instructor I can be.
I have three years of head coaching experience, for two years of which I was also an assistant coach for the Portland Aquatic Club. Before becoming a head coach for the Grant High School swim team, I was the assistant coach for two years. During that time, I also worked as a waitress at Mary's Woods Retirement Community for a year, before I switched to the caregiving department at the same company, where I worked for another year.
I have a high school diploma, and multiple coaching certifications, including CPR/First Aid, ASCA Certifications, PPS Background check, and PPS coaching certifications.
