Ramie Nasser-Ahmed

I earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts (BFA) in Photography at School of Visual Arts (SVA), where I obtained numerous scholarships and awards for academic and artistic achievement. My primary emphasis is photography, but I also experiment with other mediums such as videography. My work has appeared in various magazines, such as Aperture Foundation, Paper Magazine, and Booooooom.

While at SVA as a Photography Studio Staff, I assisted with the daily operations of the photography department, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and studio bookings. I also aided students and teachers with their technical and creative needs, offering guidance on their projects. In addition to my photography and video skills and knowledge, I have a strong background in customer service, having worked as a sales associate and a key-holder at various retail stores.

I have developed effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality service to customers. My goal is to combine my artistic vision and customer service expertise to create engaging and meaningful visual experiences.

In addition to working as a keyholder in several retail settings, I have one-on-one experience interacting with clients in the photography industry.

I recently earned a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, where I focused on both photography and video.
