I am a registered AMFT looking to focus my time with an organization that can provide consistent referrals and a supportive learning environment for delicate mental health topics. I graduated in December 2023 and really appreciate supervision which is affirming and can offer alternative ways to viewing at a topic.
Im a diverse therapist with most of my earned hours working with children and adolescents. However, my future goals include being a couples intimacy therapist giving me the full experience of working with entire family members upon licensure.
Special skills include offering interventions for children for the symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, “bullying behavior", defiance, ADHD, neurodivergence intelligence, pre-gang affiliations, and crossing-the-border trauma. I lean towards modalities such as mindfulness therapy, narrative therapy, art therapy, and nature therapy with a strength based lens.
More than anything I am a student and a teacher. A student learning how to grow as a clinician and human being and sharing the most effective ways to manage this delicate journey of being human, often humbling and in need of guidance. I look forward to learning more about your organization to see if we are a good fit.
