In Mexico, I was an ESL professor, but then I had changes in life, and I needed a change in pace, becoming an English/Spanish interpreter and customer service representative. Now, I need more flexibility but stable schedule.
I love to teach, in general. When in a communicating environment, I ask questions to ensure that information flows. And different topics always make the day something to look forward to talking/writing about.
I also taught TOEFL, for adults, which is a lot of fun. Watching students learn, especially to write coherent paragraphs is a very rewarding experience.
I am a former English teacher/professor/trainer who has worked in groups as well as one-on-one with learners of all ages and stages of knowledge. Life happened, and I am again looking to continue this path, watching my students grow, as usual, as well as to my own learning about different cultures.
Academically, a Master's in ESL, but my best education was hands on, using the tools given by the university, as well as student feedback. I also had academic training by the company called Princeton Review, specialized on TOEFL.
