I am a UX/UI Designer and Researcher. With a background in the performing arts and education, I bring a unique perspective to my work that centers on collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail.
As a former opera singer and educator, I have honed skills such as leadership, empathy, communication, analytical and critical thinking, adaptability, and collaborative problem-solving that directly translate to the UX/UI field. These skills enable me to create thoughtful and user-centered designs that are functional and visually appealing.
● Collaborate on a team of five to confidently redesign the current mobile app through ideation, wireframing, style guides, and developer handoff using best practices to create user-centered products
● Communicate with key stakeholders to understand the needs and limitations of the business to optimize production and create customer-centric deliverables
● Design and iterate on medium to high-fidelity wireframes for web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency by building user flows, style guides, and component libraries that align with industry standards
● Conduct iterative design processes by utilizing feedback to translate users' needs into innovative designs
● Collaborate with multiple designers to achieve a consistent design that cohesively combines the ideas of all designers
● Collaborate confidently to implement human-centered design principles through various stages of ideation, wireframing, hi-fis, interactive prototypes, style guides, and developer handoff for a responsive B2B2C web design
● Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and user needs and develop a plan to execute user-centered designs to increase user participation
● Present and articulate design decisions to various decision-makers and developers to advocate for both the client’s vision and end-user satisfaction
● Perform competitive analysis to deliver a comprehensive end-to-end design for users following best practices
● Participate in creative problem-solving with other designers to deliver an outstanding product to stakeholders and users that increased user adoption and engagement
