Redick Powell

I am a dependable and hardworking individual with hands-on experience in grounds maintenance, equipment operation, and team-based work, as well as experience in child management and safety because of working in a after-school program environment. I am comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, operating a wide range of machinery, and completing tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and safety.

I take pride in being reliable, adaptable, and a strong communicator, whether working independently or as part of a crew. My background as a multi-sport varsity athlete and team captain has helped me develop a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. Currently pursuing higher education, I am motivated to continue learning, improving my skills, and contributing positively to any team I am part of.

I am experienced in grounds maintenance and outdoor operations, with hands-on involvement in grass care, irrigation systems, and the operation of specialized equipment and machinery. I have the ability to perform physically demanding work safely in all weather conditions while meeting daily productivity goals as part of a team.

I am also experienced in child care and youth supervision through an after-school program, with responsibilities focused on child safety, communication with parents, organization, and maintaining a structured, supportive environment for children ranging from kindergarten through middle school. Demonstrated reliability, patience, and professionalism in roles requiring trust and responsibility.

Honors graduate with a High School Diploma (Magna Cum Laude, 3.75 GPA) and National Honor Society membership. Currently enrolled at Northwestern Michigan College with a 3.5 GPA.
