Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Med-Surg/Telemetry
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.
- Obtain and document vital signs, blood glucose levels, intake and output, and daily weights.
- Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with cardiac monitoring for telemetry patients.
- Assist nurses with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, repositioning, and ambulation.
