I hold a PhD degree in pure meathematics from Stony Brook University along with a Bachelors degress in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University. My research is in mathematical relativity and the applications of Riemannian geometry to studying the geometry of black holes and astrophysical phenomena like gravitational waves. In my spare time, I create animations and stop-motion videos to elucidate math concepts.
After graduation I taught at Farmingdale State College, Pace University, the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and New York Institute of Technology. My teaching experience has covered a broad range of math courses, including college algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I & II, and Differential Equations.
I have also worked for various tutoring companies, including Sylvan Learning Centers, The Tutoring Center, Parliment Tutors, and SmartAlec. I have also created educational videos for the New York-based Gooroo.com and educational bricks (learning units) for the UK-based Brillder.com company.
