I have been in construction most my life. I have always been a people person. I have done my fair share of training and teaching. I am what you would call a natural born leader. I try to get myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible, to adapt to my daily life and to keep myself humble.
As a former business owner and job supervisor, I try to make sure I understand both sides when it comes to the employees. I would never ask someone to do anything I wouldn't do myself. I also understand rules and safety comes first.
I try to learn as much as I can daily, and I am not stuck on my ways. I understand that not every job is not ran the same and that I am expected to complete the task as my employer asks. I am normally always on time and job ready.
And I know that communication is key.
