Hello,
I have a strong interest in materials science, supported by a solid chemistry background. I am seeking opportunities that offer hands-on experience and allow me to apply my expertise in real-world applications.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions!
Thank you.
While at UC Santa Cruz , I wrote a thesis on my research, which was focused on determining if steelhead trout were bioaccumulating methylmercury from non-native terrestrial isopods, this was done by purifying the samples and then finding the MeHg concentrations with gas chromatography.
At UC Irvine, I conducted some research in making the relation between synthesis, structure and gas sensing performance of graphene based nanowires embedded with metal and metal oxide particles.
Additionally, I also worked as a teaching assistant at UC Irvine, Where I supervised and mentored five undergraduate student teams during their senior design projects. I ensured proper laboratory maintenance, managed inventory of necessary supplies, and upheld safety protocols.
I have a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UC Santa Cruz.
