I am a pre-med student with a bachelor degree in Nutrition & Food Science. I am very passionate about working with underserved areas as well as believe equal healthcare should be a human right.
I am currently interning at TENA which is a nonprofit organization that provides free services to underserved communities. Here I work with primary providers and different organizations to provide support and assistance to those who are impacted by inequality of healthcare. My current job is as a dietary aide at St Francis Medical Center where I work with nurses, primary care providers, and dietitians to ensure patients are receiving the adequate nutrition for their current status.
