Special Needs one-on-one Instructional Assistant at Dysart Unified School District (2013-08 – 2014-05)

As an Instructional Assistant for a special needs student I was a one-on-one which meant I was assigned to working with one child but had the pleasure of working with all students in the grades K-8. My responsibilities with the child were teaching her basic beginning alphabet sounds, colors, shapes and reading. I would have to assist her with meals, walking and Occupational Therapy Skills.
