I started my career in my core field of mine ventilation, where I built strong technical expertise in underground ventilation design, modelling, and optimization using tools such as VentSIM. Early in my career, I was heavily involved in ensuring safe airflow distribution, controlling contaminants, and supporting underground production activities through effective ventilation planning. Later, I had the opportunity to expand my experience by joining the mine planning team for about three years, where I worked on planning and scheduling using Deswik.

That role gave me a broader operational perspective and helped me better understand how ventilation integrates with mine development, production sequencing, and overall operational efficiency.
