Manufacturing Technician - Lucid Motors - Casa Grande, AZ

When starting with Lucid, I spent my first couple of years on the assembly line where I learned the ins and outs of the motor while completing full teardowns and rebuilds. I assisted the repair team with the first release-car motors and was able to identify and rectify issues as they arose on the line. For about another year, I spent time with the quality team to ensure vehicles and their parts were in the best possible condition before being released.

I am currently a manufacturing technician. In this position, it is my job to ensure that all equipment is working properly and adjust things when needed. I program the tooling to hit certain torque parameters and the presses so that they apply proper force and distance measurements to meet the specs that engineering has given for proper function of all motors.

I assist with installs of new stations to ensure the production line is running in proper cycle times.
