I've been in the insurance business for 3 years, but I'm looking to sink my teeth into SIU or Surveillance positions. I graduate with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Administration in April 2026, and I'm starting a Bachelor's in Forensic Science (Death Investigation) in August 2025.

The best skills that I'll bring to your team are:

• Report Writing - I write reports within the insurance industry as well as my college courses. I keep well documented accounts of my work so that it is easy to understand what I have done on an assignment and what is still needed that I am working on.
• Nosy - Some say that nosiness isn't the best trait, but I believe that it's the greatest for being in surveillance or SIU. I want to know everything and will pry and scour for the answers.
• Empathy - I understand the necessity of building rapport and trust with clients, teammates, and those involved in the investigation. When individuals feel heard, understood, and respected, they are more likely to cooperate fully and provide honest information.

I like to consider myself a jack of all trades. I've worked in customer service, food, corrections, taxes, real estate, and insurance. I like to get my hands on new information. My most impactful jobs have been working in a correctional facility (completing 7-week correction officer training), and handling insurance. Even though I have one position at the insurance company, I shadow other departments to learn the ins and outs of the company as well as general knowledge to bring to others.

I am a senior for my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice Administration. This program has helped me build my skills of critical thinking, problem-solving, communication (both verbal & written), research & observation, and ethical decision-making. It also gave me the knowledge of criminal law & procedures, as well as the knowledge of criminology & forensic science.

This degree has given me a blend of practical skills and theoretical knowledge that I believe is highly valued within SIU or surveillance positions.
