Assisting the registered nurse, with ADL’s and patient de-escalation, diverting patient attention to avoid problematic situations', work with individuals (group or individual setting) to promote active treatment and behavior management, support counseling, observing and documenting the patient’s behavior, safety checks, data entry, identifying and appropriately responded to clients in crisis, completed administrative tasks, conducted psychoeducational group therapy sessions, documented patient belongings upon arrival and departure

Record medication dosages and times, coordinate with support staff to assist with patient care, deliver routine daily medications- prescription or non-prescription to patients, follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications, follow verbal directions from the director of nursing on handling patient behaviors, following protocols that coordinate with the facilities guidelines on medication refusals, lack of staff support, patient dilemmas (I.e., sick, needing emergent care), performing ADL’s and routine wound care.
