I am an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with extensive clinical, academic, and leadership experience. I graduated from Ahfad University for Women, Faculty of Medicine, and hold a Clinical MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board (SMSB), MRCOG (UK), MRCPI (Ireland), a Master’s in Ultrasound from the University of Medical Technology in collaboration with the Ian Donald School of Medical Ultrasound, and a Master’s in Medical Education from the University of Khartoum.
Most of my professional experience was in Sudan, where I worked as a consultant and specialist at Soba University Hospital, Ibrahim Malik Teaching Hospital, Al-Amal National Hospital, and Royal Care International Hospital. I mentored junior doctors, published research, and actively participated in conferences with oral and poster presentations. I also contributed to the Sudanese Obstetrics and Gynecology Society through workshops and training programs, and was a speaker and champion in the “Making Abortion Safe” project led by RCOG (UK) in collaboration with the Sudanese Ministry of Health.
After being forced to relocate due to the war in Sudan, I restarted my career in Ireland, working as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and currently at Mayo University Hospital. I am dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic, with strong teamwork skills and a passion for teaching, continuous learning, and delivering high-quality patient care.I am eager to work in Routenda hospital to be under your care
