Working on mud pumps changing liners, swabs, cap gaskets, springs, modules, popoff valves, 2 inch and 4 inch valves. Changing water in duck ponds and cleaning them. Opening 2 inch and closing 4 inch to bleed pressure off pumps, taking them offline through lockout, tagout in vfd house, then trying out to make sure it's isolated and no injuries can occur.
Mixing chemicals bulk barite, gel, caustic soda with proper ppe in mixing barrel on top of tanks, above the active system. Making sure suction and discharge valves are lined up correctly to mix either in slugging tank or active, before opening hopper valve to prevent accidents and fluid loss. Then mixing chemicals according to mud engineers orders, or company man's redirecting.

Shaker screens, bypassing cement through bypass line into proper storage during cementing casing. Transferring mud from settling tanks to triptank, Transferring mud from active tank to slugging tank either by equalizing or using centrifugal pump, normally by hopper. Transferring from slugging tank to active, etc.
Making sweeps in slugging tank through hopper and pumping down hole while drilling, circulating, etc. Mixing chemicals in premix tanks, pumping to fractanks for lcm weighing up, viscosity etc., or Transferring into active system. Going from water based mud to oil based mud during casing run, walking the rig, etc.
By pumping water based either to reserve pit or fractanks for storage and use on next hole. Using trash pumps, 4 inch lines into 10 inch manifolds on fractanks and 4 inch manifolds going to other fractanks with 10 lines and manifolds. Then Transferring oil based from storage tanks into active system after being cleaned using traction pumps, 4 inch lines and storage tanks making sure valves are lined up properly.
Then weighing and conditioning mud. Running closed loop system with solids and cuttings going in opentop railcar system pulling and pushing them with forklift then lay down trucks hauling them off to dump and replacing with an empty opentop at the same time. Working in close conjunction with solids control hands also.
Tripping pipe in and out of the hole, I've worked with 3 1/2, 4, 5, inch drillpipe also heavyweight. 4, 6, 8, 10 inch collars, racking them back with Willie winch, mule line and even leaning them on the rotary table, timing off to the Derrick, half moons, collar alley, etc. Derrick inspections, pins, keepers, sash cords, 3/4, 5/8 inch pullback and latching rope, Derrick fingers, monkey board, stormgate, bellybelt, angel line, geronimoline, salablock safety cables, man rider shivs, winchline shivs, etc.

My duties as a floorhand were: strapping and tallying drillpipe on pipe racks, before building stands with them. Using hydraulic catwalk after rolling joint of drillpipe into the catwalk trough with either right or left side indexer sometimes doing it by hand. Bringing the joints up and then using the skate to position the pin end tool joint forward to latch on it with single latch 5 inch elevators using offdriller side winch to hoist up into mouse hole and set slips.
We repeat process stabbing pin end into first joint in mouse hole. Then Bringing ST80 around and clamping bottom tool joint and spinning top tool joint in, then torquing the connection up to 29,000 to 31,000 psi. Continuing the process with one more joint of drillpipe then taking turns with other floorhand racking stands back in the Derrick.
We made connections with the topdrive out of the mousehole using hydraulic elevators on the topdrive. Driller would latch onto stand, coming up and we would pull slips. Once the stand was clear the mousehole cover was covered then stab the pin end into the box end stump then driller would engage the topdrive to spin in the stand.
Then we would use the ST80 to torque the connection
