ABCA4-related retinopathy ClinGen Biocuration/Research:

Worked under ClinGen supervisor in studying and quantifying the pathogenicity of ABCA-4 variants contributing to inherited retinopathy disorders. Biocuration consists of pooling identified ABCA-4 variants, evaluating and annotating scientific papers, and classifying each variant's pathogenicity. This is done to assist clinicians in identifying inherited disorders amongst patients.

(In Publication Process) MRA Announcement:

Used various genome browsers to identify and annotate a novel bacteria strain. With annotated bacterial data, I then performed QC analysis and phylogenetic analysis on the bacterial strain to classify it within its taxon. Written MRA is currently in the publication process and being reviewed for approval.

Chemistry Lab Assistant at LMC:

Handled lab dishware and ensured proper cleaning and disposal of inorganic and organic waste. Prepared reagents for chemistry lab classes and calibrated all proper equipment. Managed inventory and proper storage of all hazardous chemicals.
