I spent five years as an elementary teacher and looking to get back into the profession.

I'm the lead teacher in class working along side paraprofessionals to create a learning experience for students with learning disability to help reach their fullest learning potential. I work daily with students with autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and other conditions students have that prevent them from learning in a typical classroom. I create lesson plans with modification and accommodations that are still within the Florida Standards of Learning to help them understand the lessons being taught.

I also work daily with students with FBAs in place so along with helping them understand the curriculum I do so in safe and understanding environment to address their behavior needs. I also work daily with students with physical disabilities and health related disabilities so I am trained on what do in a classroom emergency. While being ESE certified I am able to write IEPs notes to help student receive services they need from the school system to help make the most of their learning experiences.

I was the lead teacher in a 2nd grade elementary school. I taught ELA and Social Studies. I reared lesson plans for daily education. I worked on encouraging positive in-class interactions between students I Communicated with parents of students to discuss a student’s in-class behavior, academic progress, and future goals.
