In my last semester of college, looking for a job to ease me into the job market. I am currently interested in working as a bookseller since falling back into reading this past fall.
King's English Book Store Employee: Was on the events team working with authors and publishers to promote new books and authors. I was also in charge of setting up the events to look professional and returning the area afterwords to look as they were before. Then during the pandemic, I helped with the store itself, including restocking, inventory, helping customers, and more.
Childcare: I have worked as a babysitter since I was a Freshman in high school and as a part-time nanny since college. I stayed part-time as this isn't a career I wished to pursue, but it did teach me invaluable skills from interacting with both adults and children to keeping my cool while handling stressful situations. I also spent the summer of my freshman year working as a head counselor at St.
Elementary. This put me in similar situations, but with a team of professionals to work alongside and some that I was in charge of.
Film and Media work: I attended Film school and have worked on the set of a few student films. I also helped a former colleague with creating a youtube channel. This included planning, shooting, editing, and also interacting with guests on the show before, during, and after shooting. We filmed about a month's worth of content, that due to personal reasons on the personalities part and the pandemic, was never published.
Core Power Employee: Was on the cleaning team, including cleaning studios, equipment, and locker rooms. Taught me organization and the distribution of time.
Bachelor of Art: Film and Media Arts
Both degrees are from the University of Utah
