Sara Reamy is a seasoned higher education professional with extensive experience in program development, alumni engagement, and operational management. Currently serving as the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Operations Manager at George Fox University, Sara oversees the development and administration of the university's new DNP programs. Her responsibilities include managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and driving data-driven decision-making to support program excellence.
Previously, Sara was the Director of Engagement at George Fox University, where she led strategies to foster connections between alumni, parents, and friends, strengthening the university’s "Stay Known" mission. Her work included spearheading annual giving campaigns, alumni programming, and donor relations, with a focus on creating meaningful community experiences.
As the Director of Alumni Relations, Sara managed relationships with over 30,000 alumni, implementing strategic initiatives to build engagement through communication, events, and volunteer opportunities. Her efforts enhanced the university’s alumni network and deepened ties within the community.
Earlier in her career, Sara served as the Assistant Director for Portland Seminary and the College of Christian Studies, where she supported strategic planning, developed partnerships, and provided leadership to the institution’s Vice President and Dean. She also contributed to global education as the Executive Director of KUZA, a grassroots poverty alleviation program in Uganda, focusing on higher education and leadership development. KUZA’s legacy continues under Ugandan leadership.
