Provide clinical medical assistant care at urgent care clinics, triage, and see high volumes of patients per shift.

• Obtain vital signs, document and chart patient history, medical reconciliation, and information.
• Support providers in procedures such as respiratory, STI, wound cultures, and phlebotomy testing, wound dressings, blood work, EKGs, TB testing, urinalysis, specimen collection, physical evaluations, and other clinical tasks.

Medical Assistant at Insight Hospital and Medical Center (2023-05 – 2023-08)

Provided clinical and administrative medical assistant care in the surgical outpatient clinic, took vital signs, documented patient history in Cerner, performed EKGs, and assisted in other tasks in the specialties of reproductive health, orthopedics, neurosurgery, pain management, and cardiology.

Study Abroad at SIT Public Health in Urban Environments (2024-02 – 2024-05)

Studied urban public health through a semester-long Spanish immersion program. Completed a public health internship, shadowing midwives, nurses, OB-GYNs, and social workers in community health centers and hospitals in Buenos Aires and Mendoza. Investigated reproductive and sexual health in rural Argentina and contributed to a national vaccination and health screening campaign by providing pre-vaccine patient care in home visits.

Intern at Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus (2020-11 – 2021-06)

Assisted nurses with tasks around the NICU, baby nursery, and labor and delivery units. Bottle-fed, bathed, took vital signs, and worked closely, educating mothers and families in postpartum care and lactation consulting.

EMS volunteer at Magen David Adom (2021-04 – 2021-06)

Collaborated with teams of paramedics in responding to local accidents, traumas, and other emergencies. Provided immediate life support procedures at the scene and stabilized accident victims and trauma patients while en route to nearby hospitals. Received professional EMS training and certification from Magen David Adom.
