I am writing to introduce myself, Sarthak Mishra, as a highly skilled and motivated professional in the field of Computer Science Engineering. With a Master of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from VIT University, I bring a strong academic foundation to my work.
Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a diverse range of technical skills. I am proficient in programming languages such as Python (NumPy, OpenCV, PyTorch, Selenium, Flask, Matplotlib, Pandas, PySpark, Tesseract, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn), C/C++, Java, and R. Additionally, I have experience using tools and frameworks like PowerBI, Tableau, Jupyter, AWS, GitHub, and working with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and SQLite.
My expertise also extends to analytics, including statistics, market basket analysis, and predictive analytics.
I have gained valuable practical experience through my internships and projects. As a Computer Vision Intern at TDB.AI, I successfully annotated large datasets, constructed neural networks from scratch, and trained object detection models using YOLOv5 and YOLOv3 algorithms. Collaborating with a team of engineers, I contributed to the implementation and optimization of deep learning models, resulting in a significant improvement in accuracy.
During my UI/UX Design Internship at United Well Being Foundation, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to create user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. I conducted user research, developed wireframes and prototypes using tools like Canva, Figma, and Adobe XD, and actively participated in design reviews and iterations to enhance the overall user experience.
As a Data Science Intern at IHA Consulting Services, I worked on a "Vehicle Surveillance System" project, where I cooperated with a computer vision team. I contributed to the development of a license plate detection model using Keras and OpenCV. By utilizing techniques such as Tesseract OCR, I successfully extracted and processed license plate information in real-time, enhancing the overall functionality of the surveillance system.
My academic projects reflect my creativity and problem-solving abilities. In the project "MCalm," I devised a comprehensive system to recognize and alleviate emotions using machine learning algorithms. Leveraging Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow, and chatbot integration, I collaborated with a team to deliver a refined system that provided an optimal user experience. I also conducted a psychometric test to assess users' emotional well-being and provide tailored feedback.
Furthermore, I have contributed to the field through my publication on "Analyzing the Indian Crime Dataset Using Machine Learning Techniques with the Help of R Software," which was published in the International Journal of Innovative Research in Science, Engineering, and Technology (IJIRSET) in September 2021.
With my passion for technology, dedication to continuous learning, and ability to thrive in collaborative environments, I believe I would be a valuable asset to your organization. My strong technical skills, practical experience, and academic achievements make me well-equipped to contribute to the field of Computer Science and Data Science.
I invite you to explore my LinkedIn profile, GitHub repository, and portfolio for further details about my projects, skills, and experience.
Thank you for considering my qualifications and achievements. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your team.
