- Accomplished SCDs including but not limited to, HMI installs for many LPD's. Full HMI and proximity switch install/upgrade on CG's involving the Fwd/Aft Elevators and the torpedo strikedown lift systems. The proximity switch upgrades on LHD 2 and LHD 4. Handled the testing and troubleshooting implementing these upgrades/modifications
- Read and interpret electrical drawings to perform various jobs, such as repairs on weapons elevators (programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, Motor controllers, elevator brake cabling, relay panels etc..)
- Perform installs/upgrades of ammo elevators, torpedo strikedowns, Sound powered phones, etc... aboard navy vessels
